We only recruit individuals who demonstrate a sense of professionalism, energy and determination to be the very best in whatever they do. All our crew must undergo a full Health & Safety Induction Course as well as an Industry Awareness Course that has been pioneered by Pinnacle. This in-depth training ensures that our crews are fully aware of what is expected of them, and that they have an in-depth insight into the equipment they will be handling on site, thus enabling our clients to concentrate on the event with complete confidence in their crew.

Pinnacle crew are held in high regard within the industry. This is easy to understand as all our crew have taken on the companies founding principles of providing a service that is based on hard work, pro-activity, good timekeeping and a determination to be the best they can.

All crews in excess of 4 will have a highly experienced Crew Chief in charge. This ensures that our clients have someone to voice their requirements through, therefore enabling them to fully focus upon their role with the knowledge that their crew are always supervised and aware of what is expected of them next.

Our Crew chiefs all undergo additional training in 1st Aid, Health & Safety and personal management.

What To Expect From Our Crew

  • All our Crew Chiefs have all been trained by the British Red Cross in First Aid.
  • All our Crew Chiefs are experts at leading teams and have received training in this area.
  • All our crew are as comfortable lugging heavy equipment as they are with the more technical aspects of the job.
  • All our crew have a CAN DO ATTITUDE, regardless of the task.
  • Friendly and knowledgeable and a real desire for your event to be an overwhelming success.
  • Every crew member is trained to the highest standards, this involves Manual Handling and H&S training in conjunction with the British Safety Council as well as technical training that has been pioneered by Pinnacle and tailored towards our clients needs.
  • All our crew wear branded “show blacks” uniforms.
  • All our crew are equipped with full PPE.
  • All our crew carry basic tools to assist in your set up or de-rig. More specific tools are available on prior request.

How Do We Do This?

At Pinnacle we have always believed to get the best from our crew it is imperative that we show confidence in their abilities, this confidence is enhanced through empowering our crew with knowledge and specialized training to give them every opportunity to fulfill their roles. All our crews understand and appreciate that to maintain our position in the industry we have to constantly surpass our client’s expectations. Consistency is the key.

We undertake regular crew chief meetings, where all our crew undergo a full assessment and where excellence is rewarded and any underachievement is swiftly addressed. This together with weekly Management Site visits and Account Managers who keep regular contact with our clients ensures that we always have our fingers on the pulse, allowing our clients to have full confidence in our product. This process allows us to constantly challenge ourselves to be better in everything we do!
