FORWARD THINKING PINNACLE READY FOR 2012
Visitors to national crewing company, Pinnacle Crew’s stand (no. 342) at the Event Production Show will be able to find out what makes the company one of the most forward-thinking crew providers, especially in taking its health and safety responsibilities seriously.
Pinnacle managing director, Heath Freeman explains:
“We do not just pay lip service to health and safety, and train our staff to the highest possible level. For example, we are now a recognised Safety Passport training company, and all our crew receive Safety Passport training as well as the company’s in-house manual handling and industry awareness training.”
The company is also ensuring that it is ready for the UK’s coming “Decade of Events”, including the London 2012 Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Crew numbers will be gradually increased and by 2012 all crew should also have CSCS accreditation. This is part of Pinnacle’s policy making itself the most versatile crewing company ready for the Olympics. As Freeman says: “We will have prepared for a massive increase in workload during 2012 and onwards and we want to be seen as the first ‘go to’ crewing company during this period.”
